Professional Journey

I graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna in 2019.

Following licensure, I collaborated with several veterinary practices, focusing on professional development in general practice and internal medicine.

For two years, I worked within a referral center dedicated to internal medicine and oncology, while concurrently attending advanced training courses to further expand my clinical competencies.

In 2023, I completed a postgraduate training program in veterinary nutrition at the Scuola di Nutrizione Clinica Sistemica Veterinaria, directed by Dr. Maria Mayer. Since then, I have incorporated canine and feline clinical nutrition into my professional practice.

Over the past year, I have initiated formal training in abdominal ultrasonography by attending dedicated courses and progressively integrating ultrasound examination into my routine clinical activity.

Why I Joined ECOPET

I have always believed that professional development cannot occur without meaningful peer interaction.
When I first approached diagnostic imaging, I personally experienced how invaluable it was to engage in discussion with more experienced colleagues—an opportunity that proved far more impactful than reliance on literature alone.

Within the ECOPET project, I recognized a genuine commitment to knowledge sharing and collaborative learning, aimed at supporting all professionals and fostering individual growth. I perceived a clear intention to place expertise at the service of learners—regardless of their level of experience or training— rather than the reverse, an approach that is rarer than one might expect.

I am truly honored to contribute, even in a small way, to such an ambitious and meaningful project.
